We serve every customer in a manner which we would want to be served in a shop, we are not bike snobs and we cater for all types of cyclist. You will get considered time and advice from us regardless of your requirements or how much or by what method you are looking to pay. 

Because we don't want to copy or compete, simply be the very best we can...

We want our pricing on product and workshop servicing to reflect the very best pricing we can make it for you and for us given a particular level of service that we want to offer as we believe service is just as important as price!

Because our product knowledge is world class...

We make sure that our staff are the type of people that are passionate about learning and making sure they deliver excellent customer service with that knowledge. We make sure they are as passionate product knowledge as they are about riding! We aim to give an entirely holistic approach; we will talk to you about; budget, purpose, bike fit, maintenance, clothing, nutrition, events, and training intentions.

Because we offer excellent customer service it is as key to our offering as our products...

We don't band around excellent customer service like a cheap mantra, we mean it, we feel it, it is key to our offering. You need to feel that you are on the right size bike for the right purpose and that your choice in getting you there is 100% right, we make this happen!

We only want to work with suppliers and brands that have the same approach to customers as we have, we could offer other brands and other products some we choose not to because we don't think they are right for us or our customers.

Our shop offers a customer friendly environment for you to engage in truly professional advice and try where you can before you buy with a our excellent demo fleet.  Our new website (now in phase 2, phase 3 coming soon!) echoes our in shop values and our intent to be the very best we can!

Because we have one of the country's best workshops...

It is widely known that we have one of the best workshops in the UK, we are rightfully very proud. Our mechanics are the best, the very best.  They service bikes like they were their own.

Because we care!..

If we haven't got it, can't get it or don't think it's right or the right size, we will tell you and tell you straight.  We spend a lot of time trying, testing and ensuring we sell the right kit at the right size.

So who are we?

Yes we have a new look, but we have been in the business for well over 10 years. We are widely respected within the industry and are constantly looking to improve our offering and service!

We are a bright, handsome (in Scotty's case anyway) and passionate group of individuals, we are:

Andrew Rink aka Rinky/Fifteen

As lean as Danish bacon an all round awesome athlete, tri-athlete and general bloody decent bloke, Rinky is the keeper of the shak bank.

Joe Bridgman aka Joe Bridgman (we need to work on this)

Joe is a true artist in the workshop, every bike that leaves our workshop is immaculately prepared as if it were Joe's own. Joe goes the extra mile spends the extra time to make sure the job is perfect!

Scott J Davies aka Scotty

The best looking and (until recently) best cyclist in our team.  A mountain biker, turned tri-athlete, turned roadie, generally all round lover of the bike who really knows his kit!

Alex McNicol aka Ag

New boy to the Shak, but an old hand in the bike industry.  From managing elite level mountain bike teams to organising internationally reknowned bike races, Alex has done it all.

Simon Barnes aka Diego Simioni

Simon knows his stuff and loves making our customers happy. If he says it will happen it will happen, more organised than a filo fax!

Steveo aka Mr Woo/Svenson

If it can be made good Steveo will make it good... or he'll eat it! A legend in the workshop, an internet wizard and online super star DJ! For god sake if you see him with a red bull clear the area!
