In store as a customer of Bikeshak your data is collected when you take part in a transaction with us or make a booking for the workshop. This is important as it allows us to contact you in the event of warranty recalls and general product safety announcements. Communicating with customers is key for the workshop as jobs may be delayed and problems may occur during a service which we will need to discuss with you.

This data is important as it allows us to recall previous repair work helping us to address any problems that may have occurred post service, confirmation of parts fitted for warranty purposes and serves as a useful time scale of the wear of parts on your bike. Product transactions are also stored for the same reasons and this information is used only by us to generate sales reports which we use to monitor the stores performance.
